Today is the second day of my Chinese New Year vacation. It is Tuesday, February 1st, 2005, just past noon. This blog site always lists the time of postings in American CST. I guess because there was no option to register as a user from Taiwan or anywhere outside the US so I listed my home town of Kansas City, Missouri as my location. Regardless, this is the first paid vacation I have ever had in my life. Two weeks off. Full salary. Whoopee! Danny and I were going to travel but have decided to stay in Taiwan and save our money for a future vacation. Perhaps to the States in the summer. Perhaps... If the weather warms up we may head south to Kenting and enjoy some sun and surf. Other than this I am just enjoying my time off, reading, blogging, and being generally lazy. This is the year of the Chicken that we are entering now. Last year was the year of the Monkey . I hope everyone has a happy Chinese New Year and that February ends quickly so that Spring may arrive.
